Hey all

I just got my x2 switch finally up and running these are the steps I followed.

1. Installed switches.

2. Made sure the msdash was named xboxdash.vbe

3. Using ConfigMagic I locked my 60 gb hdd, recorded the password, and taped it to the hdd (making sure to not cover up airholes on the hdd)

4. Tested turning on the xbox with the switch enabled.. it boots evox. Tested with switch disabled.. boots old ms dash. '

Now here is my question. Am I now ready to go with live? I have a starter kit for it and an actual retail copy of an xbl compatible game. All i should need to do is have live update the dash and viola I should be on my way correct??

Please let me know as I dont want to waste $50 bucks on live and have my dashboard screwed up by Microsoft.
