I've read the tutorial written by unr3al about 20 times now and I still don't know what I'm doing wrong maybe someone can't point out some stupid mistake that I've made.

- So far I got the network card and crossover cable.
- Installed the network card and configed it as shown in the guide.
- Installed evox 1.8 config it as shown in the guide.
- Got my crossover cable one end to the network card one end to the xbox.
- Turn on PC turn on XBOX.
- Line Status NO LINK!

what did I do wrong? I know it's something stupid..:D :D please help me out thanks guys.

Post the first part of your evox.ini file that contains the network settings and tell us what you have configured the PC TCP/IP settings as well.

The only thing it could be apart from misconfiguration is that you bought the wrong cable.

try pinging your xbox through command prompt or try ftping xbox to see if the connection is even working
