I am having touble with my dvd-rom it plays cds fine but not dvds.If i shut down and leave it in drive over night it plays fine but if eject and put it back in drive it does not play and i get a message to insert dvd please help

Why have you posted the same thing twice mate, it wont get you answers faster.

Well it's either a drive that is defective/gone bad or maybe your jumpers aren't set correctly (i.e. Master/Slave). Also what software are you using to watch DVDs?
