Are they as shoddy as people tend to say the other discs are?

The Bulqpaq/Datasafe/Datawrite labels have been having huge inconsistancies with thier quality lately. Honestly going with them is like playing russian roulette, you never know what you are going to end up with. Just because one batch works great doesn't mean the next one will. Do yourself a favor and invest a bit of extra money in some Traxdatas.

Yea I've never used anything but top media but it seems more and more people are using cheaper discs when trading with me so I was gonna try to save a few pence on my end too.

If you want a cheap yet good disc try the Princo printable 1X or 4X DVD-R's, I've used loads and they are excellent.

Princos are very easy to find. BTW using cheap discs isn't a good idea for trading. What works for one person won't necessarily work for another. So someone will end up getting screwed on the deal. Just trade with those who use high quality media. Try to find out what kind of discs they use before doing any deals.

If I did send someone discs that wouldn't work for them I'd happily re-do them on different media. No probs.

It's hard finding traders that use top media who have the stuff I like so I don't really have much choice than to take what I can get most of the time :(

Cant say I would use anything but decent Ritek (FWS, Traxdata, Unbranded), I bought 50 of the Ice White Princos once and about half of them wouldnt play without breaking up so I always spend the extra to get decent media which wont break up on anything.
