Thinking of buying one but wanted to know if its crap before i do, has anyone got one or tried one?
It prints onto disks aswell as paper but dont know if to buy the photo 900 or the photo 830 which dosnt print disks.


Anyone help?

I have it's brother the 960.It works great,but must be used daily to prevent clogging.That seems to be true of most new Epsons!

Is the ink cheap on these disc printers??? Same price as normal colour ink refills???

You use the same inks as for paper.These printers (900&960)are normal inkjets with an option for cd printing.The 960 uses 7 cartridges,as it is a true photo quality printer.I buy my inks direct from Epson.

Just checked the dixons web site, they list 2 different types of Epson 900, one costing £74.99 and the other costing £149.99, also notice some sites that sell the ink carts state that the ink is not suitable for printing on disk tops, only paper etc, so make sure you buy the right type of ink replacements......................Tony92

I can't see a difference in the two printers.Maybe the cheaper 900 is refurbished.As for inks.generic ink runs all the way from very bad to very good.I stick with Epson brand ink.If you use generic,do your research and find out which inks are good and which are not!

Hi, I just received my Epson sp900, and on the outside of the box. It said that these ink cartridges (T007 & T009) are NOT intended for refilling??? Have anyone refilled these cartridges before pls?? Can i use UNIVERSAL inks to do the refilling, again have anyone tried?? Will these inks works on printing CD as well pls??

Pls post expertise experiences with this printer, THX alot.

just bought one for 74pounds 99 pcworld my m8 has the same gets cartrides from bowlers 5 sets for thirty pound and they work perfect on printable cds and dvds
