Anyone backed this one up yet? by the way, it's a metallica dvd jesterrace777 Aug 22, 2003, 05:07 AM A few discs have really weird copy protection. I had a Similar problem with the James Bond Movie: The Man With The Golden Gun. I know it won't shrink it but try doing it with DVD Decrypter and see if it does the same thing. A Metallica DVD with extra copy protection measures? Go figure. rd350ypvs Aug 22, 2003, 12:02 PM This backs up no problem with dvd2one, burn with copy2dvd DVD2 is a straight copy no compression needed andyw jesterrace777 Aug 22, 2003, 02:28 PM True but are both of you guys talking about the same region disc? gannage Aug 22, 2003, 06:19 PM No go with dvddecrypter. There's some good protection on this one. I'll try it your way sometime rd. It's a great concert on dvd. Lots of old stuff. jesterrace777 Aug 23, 2003, 12:21 AM Did you read it in File mode or ISO mode? gannage Aug 23, 2003, 12:52 PM Neither of my dvd readers can even pick it up anymore. PowerDvd won't play it. It plays fine on my home theater but it's a ghost on my pc. DVD2One didn't work since my pc can't see the disc. I think I was in file mode in DVDDecrypter. This is 1st time I've come across anything like this. Oh well, time to move on. jesterrace777 Aug 23, 2003, 02:22 PM Have you tried using Windvd4 to watch it on your PC? PhilEnfield Aug 23, 2003, 05:00 PM Try it with AnyDVD |
