What's your intake on the new modchip?

first off its the magic V not the modchip V and its the magic 3.1 with the kinks worked out, not a great development for team china-magic though

Seeing the track record that the Magic chips have had, I still wouldn't trust it. I would imagine that it won't cost that much less than the Messiah 2 Pro when it is first released so why bother.

What about the 14 wire F14 chip. Haven't got one myself but seems a decent buy & easier install than the others!

Magic 3 was suppose to be a Magic 2 with all the problems fixed, and Magic 3.1 was suppose to be 3.0 with the problems fixed.

I guess Magic 1 and Magic 4 had far too many problems to make it to the public.


With all the problems so far, Magic chips arn't good.

There was no such thing as Magic 1, Magic 2 was the first mod team Magic released, Magic 2 as in PS2...

Magic 4 was always a clone of other companies, team Magic had nothing to do with Magic 3.5, 3.6, 4 etc...

The Magic V is not just a Magic 3.1 with the kinks ironed out, it's a Messiah 2 for $15 less...All the same features.

Either way though, I'm not going to be one of the first ones in line to pick one up. As you mentioned the Magic chips have had serious problems with cheap clones. So what gaurantee do we have that the Magic Vs won't end up being cheap clones as well. You could end up with a solid modchip or your could end up with a worthless piece of junk. I will pay the extra $15 to have the piece of mind that I won't have to crack it open again and replace it with another modchip.

And Magic V isn't a Messiah 2, it may have the same features, but its not the same.
