What sort of new features would you like to see in GTA 4??

Personally i'd like a speedometer displaying MPH etc.

also, being able to swim would be pretty cool :cool:...........................

This title will be out on ps3, it should shape the new console like GTA3 did for the ps2.

I want to see graphics improvement. The graphics in GTA is not the best in PS2.

They will improve the graphics for GTA4, but they can't use too much power, as there many moving textures on the screen, could cause a slowdown.

GTA4 will be for PS2, PS3 isn't due for another 2-3 years.

Bring it to London, and give us real cars like the Getaway.

a full london 1969 style gta like they did on the ps1 but in 3d, that would be very nice.

GTA: Sin City wil be out for ps2 next year around fall of 2004

GTA 4 will be out in Fall of 2005 with the brand new ps3 (trust me i have my sources ;) )

Doesnt anyone think that after the massive sales of gta3 and vice city that rockstar would be trying their best to get another release out asap. They wouldnt even need to make that many changes to what they have, maybe a new city or more missions in the same city would do it. A GTA game this christmas would be a guaranteed NO1 seller so rockstar i hope there is one on its way :)

Rockstar already said they would make another GTA based upon the GTA3 engine, and a New one based upon a new engine, both for PS2.

I think they should base is upon 2003, and get real cars, fast cars and slow cars, family cards, wagons, everything.

They seem to be going backward, soon, they will use Flinstone Cars.

they really need to improve the draw distance and the frame rate.

Great places: Hong Kong and back to new york in gta 3 but with more still like u can actually hold up people instead of just hitting them.

That would be sick in Sin City but i wonder if they will use actual casino names.

why don't they make gta4 bigger like 9 gigs instead of 4.35 and let u swimm , have planes / jets to fly and destory some buildings
more missions and music and instead of one character use 2 or three in the games for different endings

swim would be cool and open up a whole new world to explore. How about a mini-sub? I'd like to see more building open to go into and explore.
Form a gang/mob and play as different people.

seeing as the phsysics are in small files i woujld like to see a realism mode, however ONLY as a for fun option, whereby arrests would mean end game etc, however normally themgame would still have its arcade gameplay,

Another D&B station like MSX but longer, there ain't nothing better to cruise and get chased to, i love my 80's music in VC, but nothing gets u pumped like MSX.

all this would be cool, but (for me at least) would be fun for 2 days because theres to much to do.

It should be like Liberty City but MUCH MUCH bigger with planes, motorbikes, bikes, and skateboards (how fun would it be skating around while firing an M-16!! LOL:D)

locked cars: more variations of actual 'grand theft auto', as in missions where either you'd have to steal a certain car by any means you could bust out the window to open it or if the car needed to be in perfect condition you'd need to pick the lock or somethin to that degree. also, with jus cars roaming the street, they need to add the 'lock cars' aspect to this game.

overturned cars: how bout they dont blow up everytime you turn one over, it got really annoying when you we're jus drivin around at high speeds, roll it over and have to hi-tail it out of there cuz it was goin to explode.

cars getting shot up: gang members pissed at you often shoot up your ride and it explodes, how bout some differeces in how many shots it takes for certain cars before they blow up or where they aim their shots.

dashboard: nothin fancy, but they might as well put one in for when your in a vehicle, and not only that, it should be different in each vehicle. speedometer, fuel gauge, radio, etc, etc.

there's more but i'll think of em later on...

how bout online play? u could form gangs online and war with other gangs. U could try and try and take over the whole city with ur gang and wipeout anyone not on ur team.

The Locked Cars idea is great, maybe, when you steal someones car, they shoot at you, everyone doesn't run away in real life.


How about a car dealership, with a showroom where you can steal rare cars.


The online gameplay seems too complacated to figure out, it would just be people shooting at people, nothing more.

wasnt there a dealership on gta 1 or 2, i remember a place on one of them where there were loads of cools cars in one spot.

being able to be a drug dealer on the streets or buy from drug dealers, being able to pick your spray paint color, trucks with trailers and a respect system like inn gta 2 leading to 3 differant stories and 3 endings etc...

They need to bring to NYC like the original Ps1 GTA

A nice bit of NOS would be handy. Coyuld be fitted like the bomb garages.

I agree with the locked cars and the swimming.

More people styles/skins

Graphical + draw distance improvements would be a step forward.

Maybe just a 2 player mode with link or split screen for multiplayer co-op or versus.

More city interactivity - swimming, buildings being open for exploration, etc

Animals would be a good addition; cat's dogs etc. Would make it closer to real life.
