We are trying to set a scheduled task to backup our files at night. Everytime we do, the system tells us that Task Scheduler is not turned on and the task will not run. How do we enable the Task Scheduler function? I didn't know there was anything we had to do except to scedule the task...Please advise. Thanks!!

It's in the services panel. Start/run/services.msc
Find task scheduler, check the status is started & the startup type is automatic.
If not double click on it, change startup type, click on start & apply changes.

Thank you.
When I click on start, it says " Cannot start the Task Scheduler service on the local computer". Do you suggest anything else?

I even checked microsoft.com suggestion on this problem and it doesn't help. My system matches what they suggest, but the Task Scheduler still does not work....
Anyone have anymore ideas?
