Everytime i am connected to the internet i get this lil pop up box that says messanger service and some stuff.... mainly things like these

I downloaded Pop-up stopper free edition from download.com but when i turn it off to do certain things i get tired of that pop-up messanger service thing.

I downloaded Adware and it didnt detect anything.

How do i get rid of it?

I think I know what you are talking about. This is in XP, I don't know if it is the same in other versions of windows.

Right click on My Computer, and choose Manage. On the left panel, click the + sign where it says "Services and Applications" Then choose Services. On the right panel, look for: "Messenger" Double click the name, a window is going to pop-up. In the General Tab, Look where it says: "Startup Type" and then choose "Disabled" from the drop-down menu. Below that, it says: "Service Status" , Press the Stop button. Then hit OK a couple of times...

There you go, your problem should be gone.

Becareful not to change anything else, or you might screw up your computer.
