Hey guys, did a search for this and did not see anything. Wondering if there is a flash utility that you can upload to the xbox so you can update the bios from dashboard. Doesnt look like the slayers disc has this option after loading with a large HDD. My buddy did not install with the slayer installer and he had this option. I tried to search for this utility on his Xbox (ftp) but couldnt find it in any directory. Is there a seperate utility available? Just dont want to ever..ever..ever have to move my Matrix chip again. Just curious. Thanks as always, all!

it's there in your evox.ini file. it's just commented out so that you don't see it. open up your ini file with notepad and take a look at it, you'll see flash bios in there somewhere and probably a # in front of it. just remove the # and you'll see it on your screen.

Devil-Man thanks for responding. I did take a look at my INI file but couldnt find anything related to flash anywhere in the file. I did see something related to bios but it listed like 50 of them without the word flash, so who knows. I will keep messing with this, I appreciate your help.

That worked! Had to edit the evox.ini file because mine for some reason did not have this option. Once I added Item "Flash BIOS",@1 works great! Again thanks for the help guys!
