i get really confused when i read about all these bios and hdd or whatever stuff about x box mods and online play. im going to bring my xbox to get modded, and im wondering do i need an upgrade or anything? or are all these bios and stuf extra?

just get the xecuter chip and a switch fitted to so u can play on xbox live.thats all u need,dont mind all that crap about bios and all!!!

True... the key thing to remember is you NEED to have that switch fitted or else you'll never be able to play XBOX LIVE... the rest is just costume jewels.

Oh, one more thing... if you plan on putting alot of stuff...(music,videos...ect.) you may want to think about getting a bigger HD... or else you may regret it later.

can a bigger HD be put on later after i have the mod fitted?

Yes, it can...But it's better to knock everything out with one shot but no worries add it later.
