Hi everyone,

I'm Thinking of getting an xbox to play emulators on, but need to know some things:

1. Can you save your games - you carnt do this on the ps2,

2. How would you rate the n64 playback, im sure the rest sms, md, snes, etc all run back fine seen as they do on the ps2.

Thats about it.

Thanks for your replys.

 cheers.

yep you can save your progress, on most you can save at any time, eg mid game, you don't need to get to a save point which is quite usefull.
The n64 emus are only good for a few games which run very well, eg mario kart, mario 64 starfox etc.. the majority of games won't run or are very glitchy but for the games that do run well its very good and look much better then they ever did on the N64.

How can they look better than their origonal state as the emulator does what it says and the rom image is the origonal ???

It looks better by using the xbox hardware to produce filters... basically the nvidia chip can smooth out the edges that the original couldn't... kind of like playing ps1 games on dreamcast. Of course with that old of games you really wouldn't remember the difference. They look like crap, but they're still fun as hell.

Hmmm, not sure if this should be covered here, but they all look the same to me... looks just like the original.
