I have the error 16 message on my Xbox. I also cant load normal Cd's or my evox disc. I want to know can I take out the HD and format it using my PC, then put the orginal xbox files on it. Will this work and are there Tutorials on how I can do this?

www.xbox-scene.com has a tutorial section on setting up a new HD, and formatting an existing one. there is also a section on error codes.

did you lock the hd to your xbox if so you will be unable to just put it in your pc and format it m8
