i have a pioneer 106 and xp. when i got to play a dvd it says only 5 region chages are available, can this be disabled and if so how?

Check out AnyDVD by Slysoft.

It also speeds up the ripping process, by dispensing with DVD Decrypter/SmartRipper.

sure m8 but you have to take the risk by flashing it with firmware obtainable from www.cdfreaks.com be warned though only flash when all drives are empty of discs and do so at your own risk as a bAD FLASH WILL COMPLETLY **** UP YOUR BURNER hope this helps

I dont think there are any Region Free patches for the 106 yet.

But as I said above, even if there were, you dont have to risk flashing ... AnyDVD will make everything Region Free, as well as deprotected. ;)

for pioneer104 the 2x4all updates do they allow 2x writing on all 1x media?
