Is there any program that lets you to burn pal movie into region free or ntsc without going thru conversions ?
I got some movies from Europe and I want to play them on my dvd player in USA.

You can't do PAL-->NTSC without converting.

I mean PAL is 25fps, NTSC is 29.976fps (usually 23.976 for film sources)
PAL is 720x576, NTSC is 720x480.

Region free on the other hand is easy and requires no conversion.

It ain't a matter of it being PAL. Region encoding and format (NTSC/PAL) are two completely different things.

Fist off the PAL disc could be region free to start with.

You can make a R2/4 PAL DVD R1, R0 or whatever, it is still however going to be PAL.

If you want it region free, then try DVD Decrypter.

Are you sure about that? I use DVD Region-Free which sounds like a similar product. It does allow all regions but does so by masking and altering region requests for your DVD drive.
I would have thought the film would still need to be de-regioned using something like DVD Decrypter though for standalone players.
