Asuming you are labeling the folders correctly in capitals i.e. VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS then it sounds like you are not closing the disc.

When you have loaded your files into the Gui before burning select > Options > DVD recording type > TAO "closed". Does this solve it now?

Yes m8 it is closed under dvd but open under cd I'll try and show you my copy options so if you can see if anythinf is not right 1st i dragged down the two folders which are file or folder as on disc yellow folder\AUDIO_TS*.*then under source is E:\CONVERTEDDVD\AUDIO_TS\*.* Its the same for the video folders after the files are loaded i click options under dvd recording type is tao closed then under file system is udf with joliet up to 106 length option under pre mastering cache is option is cache file smaller than 16kb under date file and time is the original date and time option there is also a tick at when loading a track. Under cd recording type i have tao not closed file system type is the microsoft joliet option an mode is 1 I do'n know if this makes any sense to you but if this does not work can you think of any other burning programmes Clone dvd looks good but i only have the trial copy (T I A )

what media are you using?

Does the disc you burned play ina pc dvd player such as power dvd? if it does i would say its a media issue- i assume there were no errors in the burn process?

Nero would work as well (nero 6.0.0.11)- but i prefer Stomp, Nero has some DVD compliance issues.

When you burn with Record Now, you aren't getting any burn errors are you?

If not i'm stumped- I was going to say make sure that you dvd burner is burner selected, but then you wouldn't even get to burningas there wouldn't be a disc in your cd writer!

The only other thing i can think of is that there maybe a conflict between Record Now and other burning programs you have on your hd- I've only got nero and Recordnow.

Other suggestions are make sure you have DMA enabled in the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers in Device manager.

The other thing may be your ASPI driver- but i'm not too sure about that one

I might be missing something here ....... (I wanted to back up my own copy of an original movie) ......
If you are making a copy of a copy ..... all you need is DVD Decrypter.

Use ISO Mode/Read to copy to HD
and ISO Mode/Write to Burn

You dont need to Decrypt/Dvd2one it, as it's already decrypted and shrunk.

You could also use Disk Copy in RNM

Have you tried using DVD Shrink instead? I use it to put everything to a destination folder labeled VIDEO_TS and then go into data mode in Recordnow Max and select the VIDEO_TS folder. BTW your AUDIO_TS folder is empty right?

Surely its got to be a problem with record now max if he can't even open up the dvd on his pc?
