if anyone is interested or the mods can possibly give me any input would be prepared to open a cd graphics+karaoke chat chan on my network for you guys to talk live to each other ,
not sure how the mods are gonna take this but hell will post it anyway, they aint replied to much thats been posted over past few weeks any way ,
would like to know your thoughts guys and any comments would be useful

is that the sort of channel that i have to have Mirc downloaded to recieve or is it an ftp thingy....im erm! not that clued up on this sort of thing, i had karaoke realm on mirc but they pissed me off and wouldnt let me d load owt... is yours on mirc ??

yes it is and it is a chat only channel i am setting up , in fact its set up on the network :) if ya want more details mail me m8y saves me getting banned :)

unless the mods want to talk to me see if we cant come to some sort of arrangement regards a chat channel or even a sticky for irc advertising

Come on mods lets have a sticky listing all the mirc channels to do with karaoke that we know and dc++ even i am sure the peeps who want to by pre done error free sets will by anyhow

Sorry Zsingtome, I have been to your irc site and its super but I feel guilty not sharing cos I havent been able to get the hang of it and all my stuff is already there. I think most people on here would echo the second of those sentiments but it is a great source of tracks. Just realised it isnt zingtome but sing to me, lol, told you I was thick.

post away mate and give the details here if you wish. seems all of the other networks users have abandoned here now so you have the sole network on here lol. apart from the cdrom guide chat channel that is but most people know of that one already and if it's specifically for karaoke and cdg's then i cant see there being a problem.

downloaded mirc......found novernet cant find crazed net anywhere i was at it for two hours cant be arsed ! that karaoke realm lot wont let me in.....what a bag of **** ill just have to request tracks on this forum.....too complicated , not everyone is a pc wizard ya know.......i notice all these ads for ftp sites and irc and newsgroup thingys but im pissed with trying everything i get links here and there and they dont bloody work ?? why cant we have something on this forum ?......

if ya follow the link gramm and d/l the sharepack it points ya straight to crazednet , if not easy way open ya mirc , goto status window and type
/server irc.crazednet.co.uk

I have read the instructions in the pack. It says type"!Scanner" as an example & a window will open etc. etc. When I do this a message comes back that whoever I asked for is trying to chat on port 1234 (or whatever). How do I chat if no instruction is given on how you find this port or reply. I find it very confusing. I have not been able to find clear cut instructions. It always seems to differ. Where can I find a simple explanation on how this works. It looks worth learning.

I recommend you do try to stick with it. Very confusing but the help is there. It turned out my software was incorrectly configured. On line in chat this was sorted by Zingtome (thanks again m8). All the latest titles are there. Well worth trying to learn guys (n'gals). Seems to be very automated. Just cut & paste a lot.

hello all ... i tried this mirc channel and with help from a op called ripper i learned so much so fast .. now i have been on the channel for 2 days and have got all the latest discs very fast even before i could get them from the shops. so if you are looking for karaoke i think you cant go wrong on this channel , more karaoke than i've ever seen in front of my eyes and easy to get (once you've had a little bit of help) try it .. i think/know youll love it
