What "region" are the DVDs I make on the Ulead program, are they "region free", and if I have selected to make them "Pal" will an American be able to watch them on his DVD player, the way I seem to be able to watch NTSC ones on mine....I know it sounds a bit confusing...if there isn't a simple answer....can someone point me in the right direction.....please...

Never actually used the program, but shouldn't it give you an option as to the region?

As for the PAL thing, most equipment in the US from what I can gather is NTSC only.

Also it isn't really a matter of selecting to make them PAL, your media either is PAL or it isn't.
