I've got a 20 band graphic equalizer sitting under my bed gathering dust and was just wondering...

...if I send the stereo audio from the DVD's phono's through the graphic and then into my Pro logic amp, would the adjustment of the audio have an effect on the decoding of the pro logic information?

It's a pain in the backside to move my AV set-up so I thought I'd ask before I tried it.

Oh, and I don't normally advocate the use of graphic EQ's (hence it gathering dust) but the amp isn't brilliant and the graphic could be used to sort of compensate for it's failings (and I can't afford a new amp at the moment!)

Not only that, the graphic has a mesmerising display that is sometimes more interesting to watch than the programmes on TV! :)

Any info welcomed...
