Hi there,

Does anyone know of a good piece of software for cataloging my DVD collection. Be nice to find one with a demo version to try out first.

My DVD & Video Collection is growing quite large so partly for insurance purposes I was hoping to find a nice piece of software that say refers to the IMDB for DVD / Video info to save me typing in a few hundred titles to a excel spreadsheet (I know I would have to do this anyway in what ever software I try but hopefully it would fill in a lot of extra details from the IMDB or such).

If anyone uses any such software let me know so that I can try it.

Features that would be nice -

1. Label/Cover icons
2. Automatic recovery of Plot / Actors / Release Dates - info from IMDB
3. If possible automatic recovery of multiple items at one time from IMDB
(A couple I have tried so far only allow 1 set of DVD details at a time,
but as I have around 30 Stargate SG1 DVD's it would be nice
to pull multiple entries into the software at once).
4. Various reporting - eg Listing of DVD's alphabetically or by Actor/Director

Thanks for any help.

I'm going to move this to the DVD forum.

Cheers Diablo - trying out the DVD Profiler at the moment

so far nice and easy to enter DVD's and holds a lot of nice details on each disk (including easter egg's - which I didn't know about)

I must try this too, losing track of what I do have these days. :)

Yeah ... I like the look of this too.

Is there any way of adding a non-existent DVD, i.e. a screener or one you have put together yourself ?
