Got a Phillips dvdr70 recorder.

I want to record from tv and remove all advertisments. Then transfer from dvd+rw to dvd-r

I obviously need to transfer everything to my pc first. What software can I use to remove unwanted parts and write to dvd-r?

Can it be done with Ulead dvd factory? Or will it take a long time?
