View Full Version : Does anyone have or tried a UNIVERSAL GAMECUBE? Help!

I will be buying a Gamecube soon and I'm thinking about getting a Universal Gamecube. Does anyone have any expierence with a Unversal Gamecube? :confused: How well do they work? I really want to buy the Biohazard remake next month!! :D

modding the gamecube to play imports is really simple. I did it myself and i have no soldering skills. Take a look at this site it will teach u everything.

a Universal Gamecube just allows you to play jap and american games...to play jap. games i think u just put it in the gamecube like u do a normal game

yep but it will have a switch installed at the back for us or jap modes

geez! how many gamecubes are there. Theres the original gamecube, the universal gamcube, and the panasonic gamecube. Anymore? lol.

the universal gamecube is just a modded nintendo gamecuber or panasonic Q, there is no individual third maker

Why dont you just buy a second hand Gamecube for about £100 then buy Freeloader or Action Replay and then you have a Gamecube that can play games from the US and Japan.
The modded ones you can get which let you switch between the US and Japan dont let you play UK games so if you wanted a new game it would have to be either US or JAP, but with Freeloader you can buy whatever you want.
I have Eternal Darkness and Resident Evil, both US copies and I am getting my copy of Freeloader tomorrow, cant wait.

Don't think they actually meant a copy as in on a DVDR, etc. but a copy as in an original.

eg. I have a copy of that new magazine that came out last week. vs. I made a copy of that CD you lent me.

Isn't English a wonderfull language.
