Hi Guys

I was asked recently the best way to link a laptop to 5 TV's/monitors.

What hardware is needed etc.

Thanx

Easily the best method is to use a televiewer that costs about £50.
I personally use a Trust manufactured product.
Using this you can just have a quarter of your laptop screen shown on the tellys and no one can see you cuing up the karaoke tracks and mp3 music tracks in separate windows.
You can have an animated gif logo under the place where the Winamp play screen pops up.
The televiewer cable comes out on a rca phono so all you need are a few doublers daisy chained together to feed all the tellys.
power for the televiewer is taken from the usb socket.

Try this then

I would recommend the Trust 1610 model because all the wires are plug ins.
The 1600 has them hard wired and is a pain to carry about.

Tight arse method.....

I've been using a multi-scart & phono unit from argos (about £10)

When the song finishes, push a button and it cuts the feed to the TV's.
so you can cue up the next track without everyone seeing what you're doing.

OK, it leaves a blank screen on the TV's for a few seconds but it's cheap!

Tell me exactly what to look for in the Argos book.
What's the exact title of this piece of cheap arse gear.
