Hi GDF,

This depends on what OS you are using but by default it is found in the following registry key

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RemoteAcces s\Parameters

Try doing a search in the registry for AutoDisconnect and change the parameter from a 0 to a 1 or the other way around.

If you are on Win9X then this can also be indicative of a corrupted dialler or DUN. In this case try recreating the dialler.

if your not comfortable mucking around in the registry try thiis.

open IE on the toolbar click on tools/internet options/connections tab/ settings/ under dial up settings click on the "advanced" button the box that pops up has a box next to "disconnect when connection may no longer be needed make sure it has a check mark in it. then clcik ok.
