Ok so i have this laptop with a hdd that was partitioned into a 3 and 20 gig partitions so i tried to remove the partitions so it could be fdisked and formated as one partition. I used fdisk to try and remove the partition there were some problems relating to the logical disk but i some how got round this.

Now when i try to fdisk it it jusT says error reading disk, any ideas what i can do or what tools/apps i need to fix it :confused:

If your going to load in win2000 or xp, use the disk to remove the partitions and format.
