HELP!!! i have this large dvd .iso file that i want to burn (tiger woods 2004). when i use nero ultra6 or recordnow it tells me to use a DVD+R media instead of my DVD-R media. i've read several articles stating that a modded ps2 won't read DVD+R media. what can i do to get it to read my DVD-R media?

btw, i just noticed that my dvd burner is a NEC DVD+RW burner. could that be a problem? i hope not.

okay, i went to the manufacturer's site and it states that i could read but not write dvd-r media. am i able to change that?

No you have a DVD+R/+RW ONLY drive. You cannot write to DVD-R/-RW. Since you have got everything up and running you might as well give it a shot with DVD+R (some PS2s read them and some don't). Just make sure to use a quality brand of media like Ritek, Verbatim or Fujifilm to give yourself the best shot at success. If it doesn't work either pick up a dual format burner or the new 4x Toshiba or a Panasonic Multidrive.
