I recently got a DMS3 version 2 installed on my PS2. I was trying to boot a DVDrip CD and the playstation 2 logo will come up, but then just freezes on a black screen. Any idea what might be happening? I haven't tried DVD-R backups yet since I'm still waiting for my writer to ship. Thanks for any help

sounds like a bad burn or media your ps2 doesn't like anyway.

Yea, I'm thinking the image I burnt was just bad. It probably isn't media since I used three different media (TDK, Fujifilm, Toshiba) to try it out. I'll try another game tonight. Thanks for the tips though!

Okay, i was just being a noob. Backed up a PS2 cd game and it works fine.
