I've read some of the posts about the dnas, sorry if i missed one that relates to this question. Anyways here goes. I have the original version of NHL 2004 but i still get hung up on the dnas check. If it's on the disk shouldn't it go through, how is it that it's able to know that i have a modded system and why are they killing my connection because of it even though i have a legit game. anyone has any info or know how to get around it.. i think i have a magic 4.. but i'm not a hundred percent sure.. it's one of those no swap ones anyways i think i got it installed several months ago.. can't remember exactly.. thanks

yep you have to disable your modchip, to disable some you need to hold eject or hold reset or double reset etc...there are many different methods for different chips...however if you've got a Magic I believe (I may very well be wrong here, someone correct me please if I am) you actualy need to have a physical switch installed to disable it

I had a dnas problem with Madden when I first got it and the problem was actually with the settings/connection. Heck, I can get online with my original copy and the chip on.

And as far as Magic is concerned, I was under the impression that '3' had a sleep mode. Maybe I'm wrong though. I have been in tha past... many times.. :D
