My friend has asked me to sort him a PC and printer out for £500 , nothing fancy something to surf the net and other home use ( wont be used to play games on).

I suggested an Epson C62 printer for £60 leaving around £450 for the PC does anyone know of any good deals around at this price or would it be cheaper to build one , I have been looking at price of parts and could probablys build the following spec for the price..

AMd xp2200
256 mb ram
80 gb harddrive
liteon Cd/Cdrw
17 inch monitor
64 or 128 mb graphics
speakers keyboard etc.

any ideas on motherboards (reliable) for this processsor and any other ideas on systems to buy would be app.
