DATAWRITE have re released this dvd-r and it has a new dye any 1 know any news on this.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of anything with the Bulqpaq/Datawrite/Datasafe labels. This company is all over the place with the reliability of thier media. Lots of complaints about these labels as of late. Even thier "Ritek" dye DVD-Rs were cheap overprints.

I don't think you are going to find anyone who has used these discs recently as there was a huge warning that went up about them a couple months ago. The point is that just because someone ends up with a decent batch doesn't mean that you are going to. I don't understand why people insist on trying to use media that is well known for being crap.
