Can anyone help me out by telling me of any uk sites, mail order, that do second hand or dated new computer parts.
I sometimes come across older pc's which are usable but dated, and this can sometimes be better than nothing at all.
At the moment I would like to get An Intel Pentium 2 400 processor, some PC100 memory, and some low spec HDD's maybe between 6-10Mb, obviously all in working order, but cheap.
If anyone can give me some addis it would be appreciated.

Cheers

Oh dear Rab, i think you may be stuggling to get what your after, a better altetrnative may be a motherboard bundle pack which will upgrade your pc much better, which includes the motherboard , processor and memory ; alot of sites do this kind of deal. Good Luck.

Hi rab,

Only place I really know is http://www.rdc-shop.co.uk/shops/main.php , otherwise go for eBay or other auction sites.

Computer fairs are the places to pick up old bits, try here (http://www.computerfairs.co.uk) for a list of places that hold them.

If you scan your local papers or the company websites you can also sometimes get free entry to the events.
