and badder and badder, they sent me a wrong item last week, they did pick it up but they told me the wrong day the curier was comming, so that was 2 days gone :mad:

What do you expect for 99P lazza? next day delivery? :p people everywhere are saying it takes forever to come if you order on cheapo weekends. that's why i just pay the fiver for next day and get it over and done with.:)

You are right about paying the £4.99 though, at least you will know what day the courier is coming.

if its normally £4.99 and there doing a weekend price of 99p price then you should get the same service

Just noticed that www.wcwmedia.com are doing free next day delivery this weekend if you spend over £50. next day is delivery is normaly £6 from them.

Cant see it being long before you can get a dvd burner that burns at 40x and is only 50 quid. It's not that long ago when I paid nearly 200 quid for a 4x cd writer lol.

Yeah and you'd need some HDD to make it of any use!.. But seriously all this talk and production of faster writers tell me why are we still using 16x readers????

4x dvd-r speed is 5.54MB (cdr 600k)

8x would be 11.08 MB (cdr 1.2MB)

16x would be 22.16MB (cdr 2.4MB)

32x would be 44.32MB (cdr 4.8MB)

48x would be 66.48MB (cdr 7.2MB)

Supposedly they aren't going to go higher than 16x for DVD Burning. Of course then again a 16x drive should burn a full DVD-R in 3-4 minutes which is alot faster than a 52x CD-R drive could burn 4.7GB worth of CD-Rs.
