I've installed Freedom Fighters (Immersion) and it installed fine, I copied the crack, then tried to run it and you get the EA video, then a Nvidia video & then it goes back to the desktop.

I've re-installed and it does the same thing, anyone know whats up?

First thing you should always do, update your video card, etc. drivers, also maybe direct-x. You should also check the games readme.

samething happens to me except that i get passed all that and i get to the part where i got to hit the enemy and as soon as i do that it takes me back to the desktop. i dont think its the drivers because i wouldnt start the game, but i could be wrong.

I've got it working now. Go to Start Menu->Run and type in dxdiag, then go into the sound tab, and change hardware acceleration from full to normal.

i reinstalled, changed the sound settings in dxdiag and still getting booted back to desk top in the same exact spot everytime.

I have the same problem. I own the original and just tried using the no-cd patch on my full install, so I could play without the cd. same thing, I get dumped to desktop when I try to play it. No problems at all if I don't install the patch and use with the cd in the drive.
