This may sound stupid, but what is this difference between branded and unbranded - is it just the label or is there any difference in quality ? A local shop has ritek unbranded 4x 25 pack for 30.00 pounds sterling is that a good price ? Are they compatable with the pioneer 106 ?:hdspin:

No difference between unbranded and branded Riteks. Just the label on the disc. . . . .HOWEVER, steer clear of the Bulqpaq/Datawrite/Datasafe label "Ritek" discs as they have caused no end of trouble for most people here.

Some people prefer unbranded riteks because theres less handling of the disc because theres no printing involved. I can see their logic.

Undranded ritek are the same as branded just the price most of the time. ARitek do a undranded silver which is one f the best disks I have ever used...But every1 has there own and you will find yours just look around the forum and you will see what others use most ot give you a rough guide

This looks alot like someone trying to promote his own business to me. Kinda makes you wonder when someone signs on and then posts a link to a site that no experienced users buy thier discs from. I have only seen a couple of people mention them in the past and they were both new members. I would defintely go with SVP (link listed by weewinke) as they are a well trusted site by UK users.

I seen people recommend lord of the deals before, I found it one of the most expensive places to get dvdr's from. SVP all the way man.

I have nothing to do with lordofthedeals! I'm a systems analyst for gods sake! A mate of mine gave me the info on this website, it may not be the cheapest? If there is a better company (cheaper) then of course I will shop there instead :laugh:

Sorry about that but each time I see that site come up it is recommended by a Newbie (and it doesn't come up very often even at that). So it does look suspicious. Anyways SVP is the better of the two sites and as mentioned SVP had Riteks and lordofthedeals doesn't. ;)

:D No worries, I should really learn a bit more before trying to dish out advice :p

I will try SVP next time.
