Umm lots of threads on this. Might I suggest doing a search. Right with that said I would pick up the following software: DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, Recordnow Max (with the latest PX update).

Sorry but instantcopy is slow ,long winded and it's compression algorithms seem flawed (I have had a few probs with this software ) I use decrypter and then dvd2one .Never let me down

pitmon, it would be much much better for us if you gave us your system specs so we know what works on your system.

It's old and slow like the owner

How old and slow? Are we talking less than 128MB of RAM and less than a 500MHz processor? If so you will definitely need to upgrade your system before running a DVD Burner. Also I would strongly recommend getting Windows Xp if you haven't already. FAT32 files make things a bit more difficult when it comes to burning DVDs.

nice one gadgerman. I'll never be as old as you. "You OAP"
jesterrace777 not mega fast but should do the trick.

Athlon xp 1700
256MB of ram
40G HD
Windows 98se.

I use DVD X Copy Xpress, you just get the movie, but it's not bad quality at all.
