Hi
A m8 of mine has just had my pc to upgrade the firmware for my DVD-R Recorder for me but I think he might of knacked it up. When I have started it up for the first time the DVD-R Drive isn't found at start up and when PC has started there is no Icon for it at all. He's gone away for 2 weeks now and I really cannot afford to be without it. I have just downloaded the latest firmware and instructions myself but when it scans for a device in DOS, again no device is found. Just wondered if there was a way round this or is drive dead.
