Choice red top got some of these last week and have beeng having some problems i ceep getting costers and at a £1 a disk i exspected more.
has any one had any problems with theese disks other than me and could you recomend some desant 4x media that is compatabal with nec +/- drive

As has been said many times before buy cheap discs don't expect to much ? these discs are princo rebadged and you take your chances whether they are going to work or not . I buy mirror platinum (AN31 dye)as my budget brand (100 + and only 2 returns )and any branded Ritek G04 as my premium

The NEC doesn't care much for cheap media (unless you get the hacked firmware for it) so that is probably your problem. Riteks should work okay though.

Heard some bad report on the nec m8 they seem to only like the dearer disks Ritek dye disks are about your best hope, never have any come backs on thoses but you live and learn.

ok cheers m8. ive just got some mirror 4x disks at 75p a disk and there so far gr8 no costers yet
