Hey everyone,

I'm looking at getting a Home Theatre system that can play most, if not all, disk types (CD/CD-R/CD-RW/DVD/VCD/SVCD/MP3 etc etc) and has a built in AM/FM radio tuner.

I've seen the LG DA-3630 (doesn't play SVCD's) for about £235.00 but I am looking to see if anybody else has any opinions.

You guys have been great in thre past, so I thought I'd put you to the test again.

Cheers
Glenn

I’d recommend getting separates that way you can get a DVD play which you know will play everything (I’ve got the Lite-on DIVx capable machine – its great!) and just add a decent AMP and speakers.

OK, I've already got a DVD player. So now all I need is a receiver and speakers....any suggestions?

i have had this set up three months and very pleased with it, although it might be more than you want to pay http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=1001&productId=62717

I've got this one, again might be a bit dear.
Just make sure you get a system with a Active Sub and not a crappy passive one.
