iam haveing problems chipping a psx scph 5552
i have got one wire diagram but it looks nothing like the psx 5552
please could you post anymore sites that you may think will be helpfull thanks for your time

Not sure what kind of chip you've got, but here's a site with info for an 8-wire stealth: www.consolesource.com/installation/ps-pwd-smk/550x.htm

You can download all the psx wiring diagrames from my site and compare them with your board. Make sure you are looking at the bottom of the board, this means taking it out completly. the only psx boards you can fit a chip to in situ is the 7*** & the 9*** series

where did u get the chip from?
some chips are wired to different points on the board, so u may not be able to use a digram from a different supplier
