first off sorry mods if this should not be here only reason why i put it here is because alot of people here repair pc monitors and tvs being simular i thought it might fit into this section?

my problem.....

i have a ferguson 26" colour TV everything is ok apart the screen size(and no you cant adjust it using remote)

basically say im watching sky sports news the picture is so big for the screen it wont show the sign at the top [sky sports new] and abit off the bottom to.

ive changed the screen type on my remote so it goes to widescreen but it dont save theres no save button and it pops back to normal within 5 mins.

now i know its got nothing to do with the remote screen feature. the screen should display ok like it is now. tv is like 10 years old btw

i was wondering is there like a screen adjuster inside the tv that i can twist or move..ect so the picture fits in the screen nicely. any help will be much appriciated as its frustrating me now.
