Have 2 copies of the game, but both won`t load past the Microsoft screen.

Have the beta chip.

yes there is an issue if you have the pal version (which was the first one to be released strangely) and you have an ntsc xbox

either get the ntsc version or use enigmah video mode switcher to change your xbox to a "pal" xbox

apparently there is a patch floating around that will fix this as well but i'd try the video mode switcher first before going through the hassle of finding the patch- a simple search of google should get you the mode selector if you don't have it
