i try to get online with this game and i get the server connection timed out error. i was told that i needed to apply a patch for this game to get online but when i try to apply the patch it tells me it connot find the us/uk version on my pc. can anyone help me out on this?

Sounds like perhaps you have the beta version. If so getting the proper version should solve your problem.

Its a commen problem mate, it doesnt mean you have a beta release, you just need the Reg fix, you just move it to your Medal of Honor directory, run it and then you will be able to apply the patch.

Also, if it is a backup, how will you play online without a valid serial number?

so theres absolutely no way to play online with a back-up?

There might be a sever just for people with cracked copies but no mate, that is why games in shops come with valid serial numbers, for online play.

Of course you can play with a backup.

By definition if you have a backup then you either have or had an original and therefor also have a valid serial.
