I've installed Desert Storm 2 onto my original X-Box HD, I've done this before with other games with no problems but for some reason this one won't run without the disc in the drive. Once its loaded it will play off the HD but the game won't load without the disc in the drive first!

Any thoughts?

Desert Storm 2 does not work very well from the HD, similar problem to Enter The Matrix.

Moto GP 2 is another one I've had problems with.

Never had a problem with Enter The Matrix personally.

I've had the same prob aswell with Conflict Desert Storm 2 aswell, not too worried about playing it off the hard drive but if i do a copy onto a dvdr can anyone tell me if that would work? I would try but i'm out of dvdr's!!!

Had a problem like this with soul calibur 2, just uninstalled it and reinstalled it and never did it again.

Yeah i've already tried that aswell m8 but no luck, nevermind i'll have to wait till my blanks turn up and try a copy to see if it works ok

LONG FILE names in matrix cuzed problems when copying the game to hd . it might be the same with desert storm 2 also. depending on which program u use to copy games to hd, u may try other home brewed program
which are good with long names.
