ok guys

i have finally got colin mcrae 4 running from my hd after i patched it with craxtion ......

i then ftp'd colin mcrae to my pc and burned it the way i have always done using prassi

now the problem im having is the game wont boot from dvd-r it just hangs on the evox screen ??????...im using the same disk's i alway's use and have never had a problem before..

anyone got a answer

You cant just burn it you need to make it an "xiso". Using a program appropriatly called xiso, then you can burn it using your favorite program.

encript i burned it using the prassi data disk method the same way ive burned all my others.....but for some reason it will not work it boots from the hd fine but it will not load from a dvd-r..

it start to load then i get a white screen saying disk is damaged or dirty

just seems wierd that it runs from the hd but not dvd-r....if i had a bigger hd it wouldnt be a problem it just that i have the original hd so space is a problem

Do you know if this game needs some type of patch. Have you tried making an xiso of the game files. Get back to me let me know.

thanks for all the advice i finally got it to work from dvd-r...

i used craxtion to patch and build a iso then i burnt it with nero 6 and it worked first time.....
ive never had to make an iso before i just normally burnt a data disk with prassi following cal g's method ..

well not bad after 8 hrs of messing it and 7 dvd-r later ...then to top it all off i tryed to update my evox dash and total messed up the xbox :(... lucky i made backups of everything..... but hey at least i got it all working again

what would i do without all the help and advice from this board......

oh 1 more question im running xbconnect and i have a pal box can i join in on a ntsc game or is it just pal & pal
