on mine its just a couple of screws and in went the 106d
in a friends its lodged into place and there's plastic rail wedging it.

Its doing my head in, how do I take it out..........?????????????

Compaqs are ***...they build their computers in a way that you cant take out components and add them without support...or paying more money...
