I have recently had my brand new Xbox chipped with an executer.
How ever it came to my attention that something was wrong when i couldnt boot a recent game which i got burned for me. It just keeps saying it cant recognise the disk.
After putting in another copied game which previously worked i noticed that it sticks alot especially on the intro.
Do you think that whilst chipping my Xbox, the drive may mysteriosly be changed with another one? if not, what other reasons could i have for the game not working (its not the disk because ive seen it working on another xbox)

It could be a media issue- for instances i have a samsung drive which pretty much reads anything- but a few friends of mine have philips drives which will not read cd-r's and certain brands of dvd-r- if you have a picky rom drive- you should make sure all your backups or on ritek media.
what colour is the dye- riteks are a deep purple/mauve colour which is generally more compatible with xbox lasers than other dyes such princos (which are a lighter pinkish shade)

What i mean is that just after i had it chipped it worked seemlessly. Now after a few weeks it keeps sticking and jumping on the intro, its not a dirty disk.
The game that didnt work at all has been tried with two differnt types of media, and they both worked on somone elses xbox

Please Help!
Do the lasers on an Xbox 'go' like they do on the PS2's?

well if it worked straight after modding then the guy who chipped it for you didn't do a switch on the drives-
what media have u tested it with? (be specific e.g. if they are datawrite yellows and ICE white they are the same dye with different branding so thats not really a valid check), and are they + or - need a bit more info
the fact the game is loading but playing jerkily suggests to me
a) bad media
b) the game was burned in UDF format and not a xiso- to check this see if the when you put the disc in your pc dvdrom drive- can you see the files on there? if so it was burned as udf
