can anyone help i just got this drive and cant get it to rburn any faster than 20x
i have search tis forum and tryed the things the other post do
like:
check if dma is activate (mine says my dvd-r in multi-word dma mode 2 and so are my hard drives but my cdrw is only dma)
i have then hard drives on masters and dvd-r pri slave and cdrw on sec slave
can any one give me any more ideas

are you trying to copy on-the-fly? (from one disk straight onto another??

Check if your ASPI layer is okay (use Force ASPI from here: http://www.clonecd.net/Force-Aspi.htm )

what programs are you using to burn with??

using nero 6
and aspi layer are fine checked them with nero info
try to copy from files on computers
