I am quite new in this forum and also in buring business, so my problems will be quite novice. So, pls don't get impatient.

1. Recently I have got a burner, which has no label in front of it. But as far as i can see, it is from a sticker top of it, it's an Aopen. But both in booting & in win9x/win2k it shows no name but, " 52x24x52". Is there any way i can detect what brand it really is? Cause, i am having some problems while burning my Memorex cd's with it. Like it doesn't shows 48x speed at speed choice, even memorex burned with this can't be detected in some CDROM. Is there any firmware for it?

2. Recently i have intalled feurio 1.66 and then feurio drivers. Weirdly enough is had blown away my aspi drivers. where can i download aspi drivers for my drive?

To fix your aspi, use FORCE ASPI (http://radified.com/ASPI/forceaspi.htm), but just follow the instructions.

To identify your burner, it should be listed in system properties in control panel, or use AIDA32 (http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php).

Make sure you are absolutely confident you have the correct model before you flash the firmware.
