i have got a copy of this game but i have a product key code that i got from a shop out of one of the new game box i have used the code but when i go to play on line it says i need to update so i do that and then when it has updated and then i go to play it says please insert right cd but the cd is in can anyone help me cheers.

So... you stole a CD key?

yes but the shop had put all the emtey boxs on the self and they all have got the key codes stuck in the back (fools) so can any one help.

Instead you could have just said; I have a backup of this game, I tried to play it online and it said that I had to update. Upon doing so, the game now refuses to play saying please insert the correct CD.

Bugger it, may as well tell you. Your copy is/was cracked, when you installed the update, it overwrote the cracked EXE. You need to get a new cracked EXE to go with the update, i.e. same version. Still closing this though.
